Painting Wargames Atlantic's The Damned

I’ve been a fan of Wargames Atlantic for some time. I’ve got a bunch of their kits, most recently their 95th Rifles to make Sharpe and his boys.

Here we got to work on their ‘The Damned’, some very Blood Pact-feeling proxies.

These were painted to Standard and Showcase Quality.

Paintedfigs is a miniature painting service. You can send us your figurines to paint, and we also have painted miniatures for sale. We paint mainly Games Workshop (Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Age of Sigmar, Necromunda, Space Hulk, Bloodbowl, and so on), Star Wars, Warmachine and Hordes, and pretty much every Kickstarter and board game under the sun.

And we do so at the lowest rates on Earth (we’ve checked).

We Printed and Painted some Trench Crusade Trench Cossacks!

We printed and painted a bunch of Trench Cossacks!

You'll find minis here from:

Kurin Base Pack, Zholdak Mercenary Pack, Support Kurin Pack

The process was straightforward:

- The client sent us his files to print, for his personal use

- we printed them, on his behalf

We printed the minis for about 10% the cost of the painting. These were printed on stronger, ABS-like resin.

If you send us your files we can print-and-paint Trench Cossack for you, on your behalf, for your personal use.

(We can’t use any files we already have, sorry. Those belong to other clients.. We don’t have any rights to them, commercial or otherwise.)

These were painted to Standard Quality.

You can find the STL (3D) files for the One Page Rules Saurian Starhosts, here:

https://www.myminifactory.com/users/onepagerules?show=store&page=1&query=starhost

Paying more than a dollar for a Space Marine?
We don’t.

As long as we’re hired to paint them, we’ll 3d print your miniatures for next to nothing.

We don’t mind - our business is the painting. If we can lower the cost of miniatures for you, everyone wins.

“troop” miniature - $1.40

primaris proxy - $1.68

D&D Character - $1.82

RHINO PROXY - $10.24

Not-Land raider - $13.99

so, how do i get my minis 3d printed by you?

1 - You send us links of what you’d like us to print and paint.
We estimate the cost.

2 - You send us the 3d files.
We print them for your personal use.

3 - We paint them and send them to you.

where do i find 3d files of minis?

We recommend MyMiniFactory. You can also try Cults3d and Yeggi.

benefits to YOU from printing:

• More bang for your buck. For a bit more than the cost of the 3d files, you get an army.

Exhibition Quality Battletech Miniatures Painted!

Painted Battletech miniatures! The Catalyst Game Labs minis have done so much to uplift the look and feel of the whole IP I feel. They’re a ton of work, but I feel the results speak for themselves.

These were done to Exhibition Quality.

About Battletech:

BattleTech is a tabletop wargame that simulates combat between giant robots called "BattleMechs." The game was first published in the 1980s by FASA Corporation - with, shall we say, GREAT INSPIRATION drawn from Harmony Gold's Macross/Robotech?

All the new, high-detail hotness for Battletech now is coming from Catalyst Game Labs.

In BattleTech, players control a lance of BattleMechs and engage in combat with their opponents' lances. Each player has a certain number of points to spend on their lance, which they can use to purchase different types of BattleMechs, vehicles, and other support units.

BattleTech is known for its complex gameplay, deep lore, and for getting FASA sued by Harmony Gold. The game has a large and dedicated fan base and has inspired a number of spin-off games and other media. I look forward to Battletech for years to come.

Painting Warriors Of Chaos for Warhammer the Old World

I quite like how these ones came out. They’re part of a nice big lot of both Warriors of Chaos and Beastmen Brayherds. It was nice to see how well the older sculpts (especially the Chaos Warriors) match up against the newer minis like the resculpted Marauders.

These were painted to Exhibition Quality.

We Painted Up Some Beastmen Brayherds! (Warhammer The Old World)

Beastmen slap. The sculpts look as good today as they did 25 years ago. It was fun to do a bunch of these; been a while since we did a bunch of Beastmen, for the Warhammer the Old World or otherwise.

My favorites in these are the Gors. It’s always the Gors!

Orcs And Goblins Painted Up (Along With A Bonegrinder Giant) - Warhammer The Old World

If you follow this blog you know I love me some Orcs and Goblins. Any Greenskin will do, but much more if they are wearing black robes and a hood!

This time we got some video of them as well. Feel free to check them out.

Painting Exhibition Quality Seraphon for - Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Some Seraphon reinforcements we just did for a client. I love these because the color schemes are so bright outlandish. It comes from us trying to match, with traditional painting, the contrast paint brightness of the reference images.

I like how the Raptadons are the most normal-looking minis in this lot, rather than the opposite.

These were all done to Exhibition quality.

Relicblade - The Adventure Battle Game, Painted

Our first time painting the minis for the Relicblade board game. They’re charming and have a lot of character. I find this unusual with board game minis - sometimes those feel a bit like an after thought. Not these though!

Necromunda: Painting Up Goliath, Orlock, and Cawdor Gangers

Always happy to see Necromunda goodies in the studio. Here are straight up gangers, no frills. I guess, except for being painted… Some Palatine Enforcers are here at the end to try and make the rest of them behave.

Dungeons & Dragons - We Painted Up Some Monsters!

We painted up some Dungeons and Dragons minis for a GM. I liked the models; the Tiamat was smaller than the Reaper Bones version I’m used to, but I feel quite nice. I also liked the dracolich.

What I found special was the Silver Dragon. It’s small and unassuming — but it is very hard to paint a convincing Silver Dragon. I feel the painter nailed it.

The Most Bizarre ‘Kingdom Death Monster’ We’ve Painted

Kingdom Death Monster. We see Kingdom Death all the time in the studio. The figures are better, the designs more bold.

What stands out about this lot, though, are the color schemes. They’re outside of what we would normally be asked to do. My particular favorite here is the Dragon King.

These were painted to mostly in Standard Quality, with a selected few in Showcase and Exhibition Qualities.

We Got To Paint Some Blood Bowl: Season Three! (The Brionne Barons and The Nehekhara Nightmares)

We got to paint the new Blood Bowl Season Three in its’ entirety.

The Bloodbow season 3 starter box is great. The figures are significantly more advanced and better design, I feel, than the previous seasons. There's more thought put into soft detail, like faces. Shown here are the two teams, the Brionne Barons and the Nehekhara Nightmares.
